This mommy deer and her two twins ordeal lasted about 20 minutes as I was coming home from the mountain.

Mommy deer jumped over the tall rock wall and of course the babies couldn't do so. Mommy stood waiting for the babies. The babies started walking downhill looking for a way to get through the wall. There was nowhere to get through it for them. Then Mommy jumped up on top of the wall and stood looking at her babies. I didn't get a picture of that.

The cars kept lining up and we were all out of our cars and not knowing what to do to get them to reunite. Someone wanted to try and pick the babies up and lift them to Mom... I yelled "No, you don't touch wild animals!" Finally with all the cars lined up and people around, Mommy came down from the wall to join her babies and get them off to the other side of the road. Wheww... it was rather nerve wracking watching this whole thing unfold. The babies walked underneath Mommy at times. So cute!!!!
